What styles of worship do you offer?

We celebrate our vibrant contemporary and traditional services each weekend. We try to have something for everyone. Check out Worship for details.

  • Contemporary Worship - Saturdays at 5:00pm and Sundays at 9:00am
  • Traditional Worship - Sundays at 10:45am
  • Spoken Word Only - Sundays at 8:15 am at the Pavilion

What should I expect on a weekend?

You can expect a smile, a laugh, and an open invitation to learn more about Jesus. It's a “come as you are” atmosphere. There is no dress code. You will be warmly welcomed in jeans and a t-shirt or a 3-piece suit. Whether you are a life-long believer or checking out church for the first time, you are welcome here.

Visit COVID-19 to find out more about what to expect during this pandemic.

Can I take Communion?

United Methodist Christians practice what we call an “open table,” which means that everyone, regardless of spiritual background, is welcome to participate in Communion at Springfield First.

 Do you offer childcare?

We love children of all ages! When we are able, we will return to offering a safe, professionally staffed nursery for children from 6 weeks to 2 years old, as well as a preschool and elementary school program for kids through 5th grade during each worship service. There is also a “Wiggle Room” in the back of the Sanctuary. View our KidLife page for more details.

 Where are you located?

You can find us at the southwest corner of Koke Mill Road and Wabash Avenue. There is an entrance to the parking lot on Koke Mill Road and on Wabash Avenue.

How do you ensure safety at Springfield First?

Keeping you and others safe in church is a very serious topic for us. Our off-duty policemen, safety team, and Safe Sanctuaries policies all work together each weekend. We are working hard to ensure safety during this pandemic; find out more at COVID-19.

How do I become a member of Springfield First?

We are so glad you are interested in membership at Springfield First! Our G6 Class is a requirement for membership. It teaches what it means to become a more deeply devoted disciple of Christ.
