Staff Detail

Sydney is a Central Illinois native, having lived in Shelbyville, Rochester, and now Springfield. She is a 2015 graduate of Rochester High School and is studying Spiritual Formation at Lincoln Christian University. She also has a Business Administration degree from the Community College of the Air Force. In her position at Springfield First, she aids in the spiritual development of students within our church in a variety of ways. Her hope is to help not only students but also all individuals develop their own unique ways of experiencing God and expressing their spirituality. In her free time, Sydney enjoys spending time with her husband Brennan (who is also on our staff) and their 1-year-old son Elijah, snuggling her basset hound Jude, traveling, journaling, singing, and watching "The Office" on repeat! She loves having a good laugh as much as she can!
