Lent Groups

Connect and grow together during the season of Lent.

A Beginner’s Guide to the Cross

This six-week study will be led by Pastor Justin and will offer guided study of the Scriptures looking at the cross of Jesus and the people who witnessed the event. Along with the Bible, our group will utilize a new study by Amy-Jill Levine called Witness at the Cross.
Who: This group will be geared toward seekers, beginners, and anyone seeking a better understanding of the story of the cross.

Jesus in the Wild: Lessons on Calling for Life in the World, by Dan Wilt

This 40-day Lent devotional and group study will focus on the temptation of Jesus in the wilderness from Luke 4.

The Practice Plan

Who: Seekers of all ages
Study: What exactly are the spiritual disciplines? How do you get started practicing these disciplines (or get back on track)? If these are the practices that grow faith, the new year is the perfect time to begin! Based on the book, Celebration of Discipline, by Richard Foster, this 6-week study will introduce an overview of practices that help Christians recognize and rest in the presence of God.
