The Christian Education Council 
at First United Methodist Church invites you to enjoy fellowship and study each Sunday morning in one of the adult groups available at the Downtown or West location. These groups offer a wide variety of learning styles and exceptional leadership for adults of all ages.
Joining a Sunday morning group is an excellent way to make friends and develop a growing knowledge of the Christian faith. Most groups have a variety of service projects and social events to provide fellowship and outreach for their members.
Please feel free to visit several groups to find one that is right for you. Each one has its own personality and focus. You will be warmly welcomed.
Preschool Play Group
Share conversation with other parents while children play together. Informal setting, parents and children birth to school age are welcome.
Meets every Wednesday 9:00a.m. to Noon, room 18 at the West location. Come and play!
Puppets for a Purpose
Puppets for a Purpose is an outreach ministry used to spread the word
of God. The group has performed for various community events.
Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is held for one week during the summer for children in grades K-5 grade. It is done creatively in an atmosphere of cheerfulness and fun.

Christian Storytelling
Christian Story telling is a parent-child opportunity offered monthly. Parents and children will hear about the wonders of God's world, learn to know Jesus as a friend, and spend valuable time together.

This service for children Kindergarten through 3rd grade in Room A4
is held during the sermon portion of the 11:00 am worship service.
