"The Door Is Open"

Ed DeBevic's is a restaraunt in Chicago where the staff treat all patrons with contempt, sarcasm, and rudeness. This is the "theme" of the restaraunt. For those who go, it's fun to laugh at how rude the waiter/waitress can be. Out of the context, however, it's not so fun. Can you imagine going to a church that professes the welcoming love of God, only to have an "Ed DeBevic's experience?" What a disconnect! This week, Dr. Swickard will be starting our new series called Mi Casa, Su Casa as we take the month of July to examine the beautiful gift God give us to share with others called Hospitality.
