This Weekend at
First Methodist:
We know what he will ultimately find, and yet remain hopeful. As Charlie Brown opens up his mailbox and searches expectantly for those treasured Valentine's Day cards, we know they won't be there. And yet we want them to be, because we know all too well what Charlie Brown will feel when he comes up empty. None of us like to feel forgotten, or alone, or unloved, or unlovable. And yet those times come in all of our lives when we feel that way for any number of reasons. God has hope, God has a promise, of love for all, even those who think they are unworthy of love.
